Most impressive car ?
Last Saturday, I drove with a local parade of over 300 cars, oldtimers to 2003 models and over 300 Bikes , this to collect money for cancer research, specially child Leukemia.
A local newspaper had a small article about this on Monday where they showed one ( out of over 300 ) cars.
Wonder why they showed this ( myne ) old 68 big block C3 instead of the plentifull Ferraris, Lambos, Brits ( and even C5's ) ?
And why did the photograph take the picture from so low? Did I possibly step to much on the gas and he fell on his a.. ?
Or is it the non original otpions, in this case the HOOKER exhaust or true spoke rims ?
Well, last year they collected over 1/2 million Euros ( in a country with only 1/2 million people ) and I will attempt next year's drive again.
With proud greetings. Gunther
Oh yes, this was the firts drive after all winter project mods and she behaved well. Following was done beside small things:
Alu universal radiator installation.
Double electric fan installation with elimination of the original fixed fan.
Distributor overhaul ( new shaft & bushings ) + PERTRONIX pointless mod.
different side exhaust mufflers, modified to suit my taste of sound.
modification of the side exhaust mounting in order to quickly change the mufflers. This now can be done in 1/2 hrs without removing anything else than the tubes.
Now I just hope, she makes it through the summer season without trouble.

They just wanted to show something truely special.
It must be the awesome curves and chrome sidepipes, which are fabulous on C3ers.
