Default Some Info Please

A friend is looking at a 78 vette. I have not taken a look yet but he says it has 139,000 miles, needs a new paint job due to the color (aftermarket not nice) and a new interior (cartpet etc. not known how bad the interior is)
It is going for $3,900 firm. Is this good or should he keep looking. I advised him to continue looking but I really don't know the prices of a 78.

Thanks in advance

I Dunno. :hat

Need more info and/or some pics. For it to be going that cheap it must be quite rough.

The mileage is about right for the year. How does it run? Is it original or modified?

If the car lived in Upstate NY I would give the frame a real hard look. Check the area right in front of the rear tires whre the rear kick up attaches.

I've been down that road. It can get very expensive if frame repair or replacement is needed.
