1982 ce crossfire questions

1982 ce crossfire questions
I am about as green as you get when it comes to engines, but I have a couple of easy questions (Ihope).
1) Being all original, what kind of mods can be made as to not hurt the value
2) Where is the best place to start for performance mods?
- x-ram?
- new ecm(if so, which one)
- shift kit for tranny(I HATE the way it shifts)
3) Being original would it make a decent show car assuming 30k miles and condition is a strong 9.8 i.e. very minor chips on front and minor chips in one decal.
I know this is alot to ask but any help is appreciated. I have gone into the archives but I am very confused.
