So i finally decided to try and hook up my pcv again (kind of important).
And i cant find my stock tube (i have the piece for the valve cover)
I was wondering since I'm running an aftermarket drop base air cleaner, how hard of an install would this be, how would i go about doing this, and where i can find a tube that would work?
If your asking about the fresh air tube from the air cleaner base to the valve cover...I used a couple of plastic 90*s and a piece of heater hose. I found the plastic 90s with the PCV stuff at PEP BOYS...
Just use a push in filtered breather in one valve cover and run the vacuum for the pcv to the other valve cover. No real need to connect to the air filter.

True, but I think it lends a cleaner look and can keep oil vapor and crankcase gases down.
well for the longest time i only used two breathers on the valve covers because of my crappy setup for the motor, I'll snap some pictures in the morning. I have a huge demon carb (dimension wise not cfm size) and it would hit my vaccum plug on the back of the manifold so i had to put a y adapter for the vaccum check valve (wiper door) and the kick down for the tranny and plug that into the back of the carb. so there is where i lost my main route for the PCV. i wanted to run it like the stock pcv (from valve cover to air cleaner base) but i couldnt find my stock tube, nor would my stock base fit over a demon. My current drop base Air cleaner has a punch out hole for a pcv, i just have no way of hooking it up.
I would like to keep my engine compartment looking clean instead of having to wipe it down after a long run
