Correct O2 sensor installation?
I changed jets and fuel metering rods in my Q-jet carb on my ZZ4, thanks to recommendations by carb guru: Lars. My ZZ4 ran lean at about 4,000 RPM and I want to check the results (prior to Dyno) by installing an O2 sensor with digital/LCD Fuel/Air ratio gauge (similar to 2-1/2” “Nordskog”, Summit p-153, NRD –M7009). I have ceramic “Hooker” headers with dual 2-1/2” exhaust and SS Borlas. Should I install the O2 sensor in the 3 “collector and is this location accurate enough (right temps) for proper Milli-Volt and F/A ratios measurements?

When you install an o2 sensor that far downstream youll need a heated o2 sensor.I had a single wire o2 and it fouled right out,never got hot enough, i swapped to a 3 wire and no troubles any more.
