Okay, thought I'd toss a few pics in here of my engine. I still need to do some more detailing to it, but it sure is a big change from before!

I have some other costs I haven't itemized as of yet that includes the install of the engine, the new electric fan, and misc hardware including a new battery for $1100, and the final total from the machine shop including the carb rebuild is $1193. I probably have another 2-300 in miscellaneous engine parts, so that comes to $2593 there.

Rebuild Total: $7805.69 CDN or $5308.39 US

And oh yeah, I decided to insulate under my carpet while I was working on the car. Here's some pics of that ..

Thanks guys. It was a far cry from the $3000 I wanted to invest in the engine this year, but it was well worth it. I must say, this has been the busiest year for this car yet (aside from the original strip and repaint). I've done:

All body mounts,
Upper/Lower front a-arm bushings.
Engine Rebuild
Install of A/R TTII rims and new tires.
86 Seats recovered and almost installed.
New door panels and other misc interior panels.
Removeable rear window.
Perma Cool electric fan.

I can't wait to stop working all this overtime and begin enjoying the car this summer. Once I have the engine done, I'll post some final pics.
