My son called me tonite on his way home from Georgia, he's an OVR longhauler
and he told me about some metal polish he got from a salesman in Georgia.
He drives a W900 Kenworth with 50 or more lights, and more polished
aluminum then I'd care to have to take care of. It's all black and a real show rig.
This polish is called Rebels Metal Polish and they have a web site. I'm
wondering if any one here has used it. I'll get a chance to try it out when he
gets back to his house. The web site says it's rub on and rub off no sweat. Steve
I've not used that stuff, or even heard of it before. I've mainly used mothers and some cheap stuff, and have found the quality to be equal. The only thing I've had to do, is mix in some water to get the correct "bite."
I have been restoring vintage motorcycles for about 25 years, they are covered in polished aluminum and the best polish, hands down, I have ever used is called "Mr. Buffer" I pick it up at Performance Coatings in OKC. Its not cheap but it works great. http://www.mrbuffer.com
