Side Pipe's ??
I know this subject has prolly been beaten around here alot but i dont spend too much time on the c3 forum so here it is.
My moms 79 vette
I want some side pipes, the look she is going for is big and shinny (in her words) i know hooker has that complete set up with headers and all for like $1500 but i just dont have that kind of budjet so i was wondering if i could get some sidepipes that look like that but wont cost me a months worth of paychecks. I need to figure something out fast cause Ill be ready to spray it with paint next week so any info or pics would help me out a ton

Try J.C Whitney, they have them pretty cheap, about $150.

Looking for something right in between these i dont wanna get jc whitjunk but cant afford to drop 1600 on chrome headers and pipes
dont they make a kit that looks like that $1600 hooker kit but only has the sides and only one of the 4 pipes coming in function Thats what im looking for

About the only way to do it is make 'em yourself. Design what you want, buy the pipe, have 'em chromed and use a commercial baffle or 'glass insert. That way you can also use stock manifolds. E-mail me for pictures of the painted ones I made at: hcabplanalp@ucdavis.edu
