20 here. Just bought my first Vette 3 1/2 months ago and already dumping my money into it. It is a 1974 L82 with T-tops. Just bought a custom 1 piece front clip last week. I am currently atteding college in the automotive field at the local community college. :auto:

20 here. Me and my vette go way back.. its the car that I rode home from the hospital in after being born! It was given to me as a graduation present from HS @ 16 and by that time I had been working on it for a year or so. I consider myself lucky for everything I have and very loving parents.

Old enough to remember when You can buy a new car for less than $2,000,. Gas 35 cents a gal, smokes 25 cents a pack, comic books 5-10 cents. white castle hamburgers 8 cents. Milk 25 cents a quart in the milk machine (regular or choclate) 4 speed muncie used for $ 50 -100, 327 engine for $200. 4:56 rear Complete $50- 100. 55-57chevy body, minus engine $50. I guess I'm the oldest so far, but that is a good thing. I could be the deadest so far. :D Let me put it this way, my youngest daughter is your age. :eek:
By the way, I am 20, currently away from the vette getting my wings in sunny Florida

Im 17 and I am a junior at miami palmetto high school. I am currently restoring my 72 corvette. I cant decide to paint it black or blue. I think im going to go with black. I think this country needs more young guys fixing up old cars and putting some blood and sweat into a fire breathing machine. We have to many punks with civics that dont know what a distibuter does.

Under 25s always try to build more horse power and speed than a space rocket. :lolg:
25s to 35s need the correct original numbers for everything. :rolleyes: Also the most hot heads. :mad
35s to 45s do frame offs only. Must make a nice car beautiful. :cool:
Over 45s are just happy to get the thing up and running. :yesnod:

Of the old Farts that gave their actual age, I'm fourth oldest so far!!!
The big 6-0 last month.
Its getting a bit harder to get on the creeper and crawl under the car. Time to expand the garage and install a lift.
The other thing are those darn bifocals. They work the wrong way when you are under a car.
