Obviously the lack of responses tell you nobody has a for sure idea on how to go about looking for these.
You need to probably trial and error fit these puppies with hardware store bolts if your not looking for originality. My guess is they are fine thread machine bolts.
You could also try looking up a local corvette shop that sells used parts, a vette boneyard on the internet, or even try a catalog house such as ZIP to see if anyone has some.
If your looking for stock do what the last suggest, if your looking for one due to a carb swap take your old one to the hardware store and find a nut that fits that will tell the size.
Then buy the lenght you need, if not exactly sure get it extra long, you can cut it with a hacksaw or dremel. Also get stainless steel.
One thing to do is once it one the carb don't shut the hood till you know for sure it's not too long or it's going to damage it.
The reason im looking for these is because I have a project and currently dont have the bolts. Since its a project I was most likely going to the hardware store when I go home for the weekend. IM just trying to save some time and have an idea on what to get instead of wasting time with trial and error  :smash:
I asked the same question on this forum last year and am pleased with the solution - just order the 1984 air cleaner bolts which are virtually indistinguishable from the '82 application which is hard to find.
