Question for those with unpainted intakes.

I'm about to install a new aluminum intake and I'm not going to paint it orange. What did you do with the thermostat housing, vacuum ports and brackets? Repaint them silver or replace them with new stuff?

I used a chrome thermostat housing and made a stainless bracket for the carb return spring.

Chrome water neck / themostat housing, painted everything else high temp silver and black. I have a Edelbrock Peformer intake painted orange, but I wish it was natural with a clear coat, powder coated clear or a ceramic coated finish !!!! I think the aluminum finish just complements the engine bay. My 2 cents worth. :party:

Replaced the t-stat housing and painted everything else black.
