Synthetic Oil Question
So I've come to the task of throwing new oil in my car. but I'm not sure if anything is broken internally (see how to kill a shark). I was running royal purple synthetic blend oil. I'm broke and i have about 3 gallons of unused regular motor oil. Is it ok to throw regular oil in the car to see if there is any damage to the engine? keep in mind i lost over 2 quarts of oil on my ride home.. I drained all the synthetic out, put a new filter in and I'm ready to go.
Is it ok to swap this for just a couple minutes of run time to check my engine ?

Hey cor, I heard that swapping oils like that could play havoc with your seals/gaskets.. that is only what I HEARD.. I have never run synth oils so I am no expert.
