Basic Motor Detailing turns into GM Lawsuit
I bought my "78" last October and it's really nice condition outside gave me the incentive to detail the motor area and make it look nice also. I figure $30 or so for paints and cleaners, RIGHT! Wrong!!! Wrong!!! Wrong after $1000 of chrome and accessories I still want to do more, Yes MORE MORE MORE MORE.
I figure if someone can sue MickyD's for making them fat or a crook can sue the Police for them getting hurt in a bank robbery shootout I figure I can recoup my losses for GM making the C3's too addictive to fix up. LOL! :cheers: :thumbs: :thumbs:

A thousand bucks!!! That's ALL you've spent? Heck, some of the C5 boys have spent that much on the coil covers alone!!! :p:

Yeah! I know only a $1000. Hey I thought when I started that was gonna be a bunch. I'm kinda like a naive kid here. This is all new to me. I didn't realize how easy it is to get swept up in all this. I think I still have about $30,000 to go. Maybe Eddie's right they will give out new C5's for all my "pain"

For me, it all started with a freekin stripped idle screw on my Speed Demon. Now I've got a 500+hp crate SB beast coming, a new ignition system put in, water pump, pulleys, throttle bracket, blah, blah, blah. I'm waaaay past the $1K mark. And the end keeps moving further and further away.
My girlfriend makes fun of me when parts come in the mail cause sometimes I'll forget and say, "hmm, what's this?" Some of the stuff the UPS guy brings is like a surprise.....let's see what he brought today :D
