Re: Time for new rims - suggestions? (mg62)
Check out the Edlebrock 409 if you like the TTII. These are really cool wheels and everyone does not have a set already. There is also a set of Boyd Coddingtons that look pretty darn good too that follow in the same vein.
Check out Steve Adkins car for a set of Edlebrock 409s.
Lots of wheels to choose from, just put 17" wheels on her and if you end up picking a wheel that allows for custom backspacing, see if you can make 4.5" backspace work and try to stuff 9.5" wheels out back.
I can get TTIIs in Toronto for Cdn. $457 each, which is roughly U.S.$314. I'm wondering how that compares to the price they're available for in the U.S.
74-Roadster, those rims look fantastic on your car! What are they?
74-roadster has the American Racing 136. So do I....and love em! A bunch of us got in on a 1/2 off sale at Sears last year. $65.00 each....lucky us!!

mark... i think you know what i would recommend...the boyd's up top look good too...are you going polished aluminum or chrome....i went chrome as to match with the sidepipes and bumpers...i found the polished alum. to be a different shine...that price you got for the tt2 is about 20 bucks shy of what i paid for my 409's in chrome......cragar ss are nice too...
