Forgot to mention, you can tell the original engine type from your VIN number on the windshield pillar, the fifth digit tells it: K=base engine, L=LT1 and W=LS5.

Thanks Tomi, but unfortunatly the vin tag was removed sometime ago in it's former life as a Big Block. It came from NY so the vehicle registration card is all that is necessary to title it. I know it's a 72 vette engine by the block #'s, but have yet to get the head #'s to identify it's HP. The performance tells me it's the base 200hp 350ci. Oh well....now where did I put that Summit Racing Catalog??? :steering: :steering: :steering:
