Removal of Headlight Switch
Anyone ever remove this from their LH lower dash? I am replacing the lower dash on my car, but can't quite figure how to remove the headlight switch. I don't want to break it so I was looking for some help. Thanks

The nut that holds the bezel on screws off.
To remove the shaft, there is a release button on the actual headlight switch that you must press to pull it out. You will have to take off the top dash, which requires removal of the RH dash because there is a support bracket on that side with a screw.
I just went through this, bolted everything back in this morning.

Oh, take note of the vacuum lines on the switch as you dig in there. Odds are good you will knock one off. Been there and done that for the vacuum leak 2 times after fixing the switch.
