I would take it as a compliment but I would be a little bummed because now your car is not a one of a kind in your area. The next thing you know someone is saying your car looks just like this other guys and they think his was the original and you copied him. :boxing

Re: insult or compliment? (73Stingraycoupe)
I think it is cool. Too each his own. I will guarantee no one on this forum has one like mine. Just look at it. And why would one want one like mine. Gotta get that red hood fixed. I think I will paint it black because there are some awesome chrome bumper vettes on here that I really like.
Definatly a compliment. Im sure many of us on here look at what the others have done and do the same. We depend on each other for the expierence to provide real world advice from real people, so as not to have to rely on some advertising from a specific company trying to sell thier product. If someone copys yur car, at least they did yurs, and not you thiers. You can always stick out yur tounge and say " i had mine first"
:jester
Definitely a compliment! I found Ecklers carryed a T-shirt with dream machines written on the back and a blue 75-77 with the Pace Car kit on it like mine and it's identical to mine save the 17" rims, bought that immediately. Well now there are at least 4 Vettes running around here like mine and I question whether it was me or the T-shirt that cuased this but either way it's a compliment.
you may as well take it as a compliment because there is nothing stoping him from doing it any way besides is he actualy making a clone or just borrowing some of your ideas.
