Major disapointment
Just got back from south of Savannah, Georgia. We drove 5 and half hours down there to look at what we thought would be a great deal on a 73 L-82 4speed. We pulled into the drive way and i could imediately tell that it wasnt what i thought it was going to be. The car needs a total restoration. The guy indicated that it was a good car, but it ends up that he had only drivin it once since he got it and it was totaly trashed. So he didnt know what it was, it looked good to him. He was a nice guy though, and he had some great redneck truck storys. Oh well, overall I think it was a positive experience, and theres nothin like spendin 10 hours in the car with my dear o' dad. I reckin ill go to bed now, its 2 in the morning.

Sorry to hear about your wasted trip. I know I've found one persons 10 rating is anothers 2 or 3 rating.
I know where there's a 77 for $5500 (OH) but I will tell you now it looks rough.
