Default Almost Ready For The Strip!

Well on Saturday my girlfriend had some auditions in Pittsburgh so that gave me half a day to finally get some more work done to the 'Vette. So yesterday I finally installed my inner and outer halfshaft loops and my driveshaft loop (well sorta).

I had a Jeg's universal (supposedly) driveshaft loop. Well it wouldn't fit up into the driveshaft tunnel. I already had the seats pulled out. So basically I just took a piece of bar metal and bolted it across the driveshaft tunnel. I'm gonna see if I'll pass tech with it like that, if not I'll have to find a driveshaft loop that will work.

Now all that is left to do is install the Hurst line lock and I am ready to go. My Hurst V-Gate shifter should be coming in within the next 2 weeks (I can't wait to install the shifter). I have a feeling I'm going to be doing some heavy cutting though.

I'm going to try to install the line lock this week so I can head to PRP to make some passes...hopefully 11s will follow.
