Default Rookie Needs advice

Late last year I lost a race with a deer. I have a headlight support on order and will replace it next week. Will this support come out the lid hole? Do I need to remove the vaccuum assembly while the support is in the car or will the support come out with the vaccuum module installed? Or am I screwed and I have to remove the front bumber to replace the support? Thanks for yer help. Patrick forever@hills.net

Patrick, welcome.

I'm not sure about this one. But I'll give it a shot. I think you can do it all through the headlight hole and the front grill opening. It's been two years since I've messed with mine. And I believe this is all that is necessary.

I'm sure someone who actually knows, will chime in soon.

Welcome :seeya

I have not done it, but there are several threads in the archives, here's one
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=207072

To see the others, do a search for headlight assembly in C3 section and archives.

I remeber one of the magazines did an artical on this and said it can be done, but you have to take it apart.
Hope it helps
