Virtue4u, this is the first I've heard of it. I was watching Fox this morning but missed his interview, I wish I'd have seen it! Darnit! I wish it could have me that gave him the car, I'm sure I'll get all the information from his Dad this evening.

He was on Good Morning America this morning. They had a telephone hookup with him and his parents. He sounded as though he is doing fine and was very happy that he had his Flak jacket on.
It is truly amazing that he could take that many rounds and still be looking at pretty much a full recovery. Very lucky young man. A true hero.

Of the four being interviewed, he was the most light-hearted. He told the story about calling his Dad and telling him that he was shot 8 times, but doing fine. He also made a joke about the hospital making sure he doesn't feel any pain through the use of morphine. I don't know how he said it to make it funny in print, but everyone laughed at both stories.
