Re: OT: Cool Old Ferrari (71coupe)
Someone has got a ton of money to fly in a Ferrari. Jesh! What am I thinking. If they have a Ferrari then they probably own the jet too.
Nice car!

Re: OT: Cool Old Ferrari (bgrice)
I have always loved the old Ferrari red, thinking of repainting my 72 vert that colour.

I was thinking the same thing. The rich like to vacation in style by bringing their car
I would never trust the ground handlers. :nono:

Re: OT: Cool Old Ferrari (71coupe)
I've been tracking my order on that Ferrari for a week now. I was wondering where it was. :D Glad you found it, 71Coupe.
At a local museum this month, there is a vintage Ferrari exhibit. Check out this link!

So is anybody gonna identify the car? I thought for sure our resident Ferrari-owning moderator would chime in.

Re: OT: Cool Old Ferrari (SuperFast80)
Twin_Turbo & Superfast: You guys are good! Since the car has been I.D.'d, I did a search to get some more history on this model. This car (type) won the 1965 Le Mans, Too cool..

Re: OT: Cool Old Ferrari (71coupe)
250 LM, i think its the one Ford's GT40 beat. Or it may have been the respons e to the Shaguer E-type. I cant remember all my Ferrari history but they are some darn sexy cars. Amost as sexy as an early red shark big block convertable or any chrome bumper vette for that matter!!!

Re: OT: Cool Old Ferrari (sharkthehunter77)
the 250lm and the 250gt are both very rare and expensive ferraris... collector cars to the hilt. good job twin turbo.
