I just put in a refurbished T&T steering column in my 1971 coupe with power steering. I lined everything when I put the column but after putting on the steering wheel , I noticed it is about a quarter of a turn off center. How do I realign the wheel so that it is centered when the wheels are straight ahead?

Re: Align my steering wheel (Charlie BB)
Shorten one tie rod and lengthen the other. There are two turnbuckeles on each tie rod pair, on the sleeve between them.
But why not just spend a few bux and have it aligned?? If you are like 99% of car owners, they think that alignment is only necessary if modfications are done. NOT TRUE! Alignment is a necessary preventive measure, to having excessive tire wear. And it is lots cheaper than tires.
The final step of an alignment is making sure the steering wheel is centered. Good luck.
