C3 Corvette "Seat Saver"

Can anyone recommend a good "seat cover" for a 1978, C3 Corvette?

I have the current Eckler's catalog, and they have the Covercraft "seat saver" slipcovers. I am not a big fan of these, because the fit appears to be rather loose.

I'm running the Okoles in my car. They're nice, but I don't like them as much as stock leather.

I wish I had the cash to afford new leather-on-foam.

I have some later year seats "80-81" that were split. I stitched up the split and got sheepskin covers. I spray glued them on and have been very happy. I found some aftermarket Recaros and will be getting rid of the old ones. I swear by the sheepskin covers. No matter how hot the car gets, the seats are not a problem. in the winter no freezing your azz off!

As I look at the website, I only see 1997-2003 listed as supported corvette years. Does this work for a C3 (1978 pace), or am I looking at the wrong part number? :confused:

They have them but they don't have a picture of any C3 covers. You can go to this page and look at some of the styles. I would email/call them with any questions. The covers I have seen in C3's so far look much nicer than any other I've seen.
