Default Rear Strut Alignment

When I replace the T-Arms I put in an equal number of shims on both sides of the t-arm bolt knowing they will be changed when put on an alignment maching but I'm guessing it should be OK till I get there. The strut rods had new rubber put in them. When installing them how should I adjust them... initially.. Measure from the adjustment cam bolt to shock mount bolt and make sure both side are equal? Do I have to first sit the car on it's tires to seat the suspension or something then raise and adjust? The book says not to torque the adjustment until the wheels are on the ground.. Something could get bent? I have to break in the rear end as well as get this alignment. Will I do any damage driving with the rear out of alignment?

Any driving will cause wear if the alignment is off but if you are just driving to the shop that will not amount to much. The camber just effects if the tire rides more on one edge then the other causing that side to wear more but in a few miles you will never notice it.
Really bad toe wears tires alot more and they can actually set up a scretch. As long as it is close it will be ok
Just get it to the alignment shop as soon as possible.
