#2 Bloomington Certified Survivor ??? Help.
What would this mean if you saw this on an add for a corvette, #2 Bloomington Certified Survivor. It is a 1968 with around 41k miles. Any ideas on what the condition would be? What should one expect to see when looking at this car.

Car should be close to pristine and unmolested original in almost every way including paint.

The car should be very correct in it's originality from the factory, but I beg to differ on the "pristine " comment. Maybe it is, who knows. But for the most part, survivor cars can be pretty ratty on the exterior paint, fading, weather etc... What they are saying is that the car has it's original everything, and further, they are all operational. This might be a great cadidate to restore, or just leave it as is. I am sure others will chime in and give you other points of interest to consider. It is what makes you happy here that counts, so go look for yourself, and decide if that #2 Bloomington car is what you seek. :cheers:
