rear spoiler

i like the look of the spoiler on the back but the77 didnt come with one what are my options? will the bumper off the 80 81 82 work on my car? can i get a aftermarket one? thanks

they are the pace car spoilers...

Yes, the 80-82 rear bumber will fit on your 77. You also have the option to buy an aftermarket bolt spoiler like the 78 pace car spoiler that was also an option on the 79. As for the front, you can buy an aftermarket pacecar style spoiler that will fit the 77. Ecklers, Mid America, and probably several other vendors that I can't think of at the moment, would have what you are looking for.

I've only seen one pre-78 vette (flat rear window) with a pace car spoiler on it and it looked kinda weird. It just didn't seem to flow with the rest of the rear, i think those pace car spoilers only look good on the later c3's (78-79) So i would suggest maybe a new bumper from an 80-82, it might be more suitable.

I have always liked those spoiler to. I think i would change the whole bumper tho. dont like the bolted on look to much.

Definitely go with the 80 to 82 rear bumper. It will look the best.

A previous owner put both the front and rear spoilers from a '78 on my '76. Personally I don't think it looks "right" so to speak. The fit isn't all that great and it looks like a cheap add on to me. Mine will be coming off when it gets painted later this year. So I'm another that says "go with the '80-82".
