Default The engine is FINALLY back in!

Well.... after two months, the engine finally made it back in.

Next the headers, accessories, fuel lines and radiator support (once I get it welded back together because it is rusted through  )

I'm still hoping to have the TPI and vintage air all done by June, but time is getting short.

:)

The radiator support is salvagable, but will probably cost me a bit to weld back together.

I ended up having one of the local vette guys and mechanic look over the engine. From the look of the cam, lifter and crank, the engine had been very recently rebuilt. (Unfortunately, the suspension, brakes, steering etc... had never been redone)

So I just put in the new TPI cam, lifters, 1.6 roller rockers, timing chain etc...

New wiring harness for the TPI, new fuel lines and inline pump.

Then the Vintage air stuff which is still in progress.

I am still waiting on the electric fan, but I can't do anything with it anyway until I get the rad support fixed.

It's been a busy winter. :) With any luck I'll be able to take some road trips this summer. :D:D
