Bubba's found my car...
It's nice to know you can use ordinary wood screws for fixing Corvette rocker panels......Personally, I would have never thought of that......
Just a little trivia for you all.....I searched the archives for the name Bubba, and it returned 124 threads. I'm thinking that must be a record......

Not my rocker panels but the door sill plates here. One wouldn`t hold for him so he put a piece of a paper clip to take up some space and now it holds.

It's a slow Sunday morning so here is Bubba tip for you. The nose on the 1978-82 armrests always pulls out from the attachment point on the door frame. Basically it is held on by a self-tapping machine screw that never seems to tap properly. So Bubba went down to the hardware store and bought a speednut and JB Welded it in place on the frame.
