Silver Anniversary value needed.
I friend of a friend has the above with 40K and he is asking around $4,000 for it. This seems low. I haven't seen it yet but want to know what these cars are worth.

The price of the car would be based on condition. I see 'em for $6500 and I see 'em for $15k. It depends on what he has.
we need to know a lot more about the car before a value can be given. but 4k seems low, so I would look it over very carefully!!

Unless there's rust or major body damage or drivetrain problems, that's a heck of deal if the milage is accurate. There's a buyer's checklist at http://www.corvettefaq.com you may want to look at.

i bought mine for 4G it had a rebuild tranny a strong engine with 70,000 miles on it. some minor body dings, over all i give the paint on mine a 85%. minor crack on the dash, few seat rips and worn carpet. I felt it was a good deal i just wanted a strong running car i could care less about the inside but once it was cleaned up and i laid down mats and seat covers it looked very nice. if i had another chance to get one for that price i would.
