Default Stupid question... collector gaskets

I have dynomax headers I need collector gaskets for, but I don't know what size I need to get... 3" or 3.5"

Do I use the measurment of the outside of the flange or the inside?

hmm, i think it's the O.D. of the pipe, not the flange. i could be wrong but i'm thinking you should measure the pipe. i don't know if yours if flaired or not which could make it more difficult but you could always take a measurement around the collector pipe with a tailors tape and devide by pi to get the O.D.
just in case i'm wrong--TTT!

Measure the size of the collector hole. When you buy gaskets, have your tape measure handy so ya know which one to get. And buy copper ones not fabric.

That way you only buy them once.
