I don't plan on changing anytime soon. I took a generic name (the same that I use all over the internet for identification anyway) so it won't be specific to my Corvette, just in case I get another one or something and the name won't apply anymore.
I cahnged mine to my name. I have to have people call be by it somewhere. I would use the name my wife calls me, but not sure if $^&#@* would be accepted.
My two dogs Golaydown! and Baddog! feel your pain.
I chose this name during a Hendrix craze... and of course I still love Hendrix, and this album. But my name I use everywhere else is "LiveandLetDrive" and that makes me feel clever :D Dunno if I should change or not?
Same here! And even if I were ever to get rid of my Pace Car, I'm pretty sure the Pacin'California moniker would stand. After all, I do tend to find myself pacing traffic...
I changed mine after realizing how stupid it was to name myself after a year.
I went more generic - and a name to match my .com
I still have my previously known as ... on the left.
I recommend this - as it lets people adjust with a reminder.
I'll take it out soon - as I think everyone would rather forget Dave's rusty 75.
I know I do.
This post makes me seem self centered ... I I I. aye!!

Naw, I always liked Dave's-rusty-75. Every time I saw that, I thought, "there's goes a guy doesn't mind letting the world know he made a big, big mistake"!
I'm thinking of changing mine to ScooterZO6. (Which comes first, the car or the name.... and if I take the name, do I automatically get the car??) Nevermind.... Scooter70 it stays.
This is kind of funny, just what these forums need more sensorship, not sure why it matters that ppl change a nik, unless they needed to because they screwed a few members over, but I haven't seen evidence of that at all. So if a person sold their C3 and had incorporated C3 into their nik, and bought a C5, do they not have a right to change their nik to reflect their new ownership. Many ppl just get tired of a nik they chose in haste when first signing up. Me I showed absolutely no creativity with my nik and just used my initials, have often thought of changing it but in the end just don't care enough.
I changed mine to get the year out of mine too. I like BeachinVette it could have a couple different meanings... depends on how fast and loud you say it.
Re: Stop changing your forum names! (norvalwilhelm)
Well, I used to be "Chris A". I was bored and had realized I was pretty far off from affording a new interior and/or paint job. I also realized that this car will be my daily for at least 4-5 years from now, the way things are going.
I do have to admit that I got my name from one of the C3 bashing threads. I just thought it was fitting.
