bcliff, To tell you the truth I tried them but I have had much better luck with the micro fibre cloth. You can buy them at Wal Mart or from Waxstation .com. I have a dark green car and when you use these it looks like it has just been waxed. try one, youll like it...............LT
I use it but I use it in conjunction with a California Water Blade. My car is black lacquer and I've never scratched it with the blade and the blade removes about 90% of the water. Just squegee the water off and then wipe off the rest with the absorber. Works like a charm. The Water Blade is around $15.
I have one, and love it! :) Use it regularly.... but NEVER on the vette!
It would probably be OK, it's just that I have been brainwashed and only use 100% cotton clean white bath towels to dry the vette (and speak to her in a soft soothing voice while I wipe her dry.. ) MJ
in my experience, absorbers are good to absorb most of the water...(hence the name) but still leaves some...i still use a micro fiber cloth or towel to get the streaks completely off.
