i've been either denied or they won't give me a quote for classic car insurance on my vette. Of course, the fact that i'm 22, not married, and have a few speeding tickets is some of the reasons for this..but theres gotta be a place that will insure me for what my vette is worth. anyone know of a place???
There are very few things that are good abought getting old. I guess one of them is cheaper insurance. My insurance company will only insure a collector car, if you have a 2nd car as your daily driver. Can't pull a fast one on the insurance company they wrote the book on how to scam and how not to be scamed. Good luck

AMEN! If they lose money one year your rates go up to cover their losses, if they make money your rates go up so they can make more money. :mad
My current "collector" insurance (American Collectors) minimum requirement is that you have at least 10 years driving experience AND at least 3 years without an "incident" ... they are very picky! (of course my rate is only a little over $100/year for my '74) ... some things just get easier with age and experience. :nonod:
I have no tickets or accidents, and no claims. Period. I'm married, 32, own my own home and business.
I'm paying over $500 a year, with no agreed upon value. I'm looking at American Collectors Insurance, right now. But I don't like the mileage limitation... :(

Remove the speedo Cable, that should fix the mileage But They will get you on where the incident occured. Can't scam a scamer.
