Looking at the diagrams enclosed in the box, I'm a bit confused  . The diagram for dual master cylinder shows a distribution block and then adding another distribution block. I
s it safe to put the solenoid before our distribution block ? I was going to go from the master cylinder in the front brake line hole to the solenoid, then to the distribution block. This way I'm locking the brake pressure to the same input hole into the dist block without upsetting the 2 front brake lines. Otherwise as they show, I install it inline in the right front brake outlet and plug the left front brake outlet in the dist block, then add another dist block to split the front brakes again after the solenoid valve.
What have others done ? Are you adding a second distribution block & re-doing all your front brake lines to go to this new block ? Thanks :)
BTW, I think I'm may install the solenoid valve under the master cylinder on the firewall.
When I looked at line locks I decided I would do the safest thing and get two line locks...one for each wheel caliper, that way I would not cause any problems with the combination valve. If a line lock is placed before the combination valve then it will cause the internal mechanism to get tweaked over and trigger the brake light...this could (not sure how bad) create wear in the unit...as well as requiring that the system be recentered. It could mess up the balance between the front and back systems. Maybe someone could verify this.
Thanks everyone. I was all set to install it yesterday, but wanted to see what others have done 1st. George I'll do a search for your thread :)
Well I just found your post for your line lock install George (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=1653160), but no pix attached anymore :( . I'm sure I have enough info now that I can get it done. Thanks :)
