WHOOOHOOOO!

I just picked up my first Vette (1980) today! After much nashing of the teeth and confusion at the bank yesterday I finally got the financing to get my first Vette. Ain't nothing easy! I will get to spend next week getting to know the car better as I have already had to park it for the weekend due to family being in town. Oh well, at least it is a done deal and I got her. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance, I know that is popular on this sight. I too, enjoy seeing everyone elses Vettes. I just had too tell someone as nobody else seems to share my enthusiasm. Go figure, excitement over a 23 year old car. I can't wait to get home and just look at her.

I just got home and went out in the dark and checked her out one last time before I crash. The wife still does not get it. I guess that is OK though. She sat in it for a second and decided it was way too uncomfortable for her, just the way I want it. I can't believe I actually own a Corvette, I am so stoked about this. I just wish I could have put a few more miles on her today. I bought her, drove about seven miles to a gas station and topped her off with premium and then drove another couple of miles home and parked her for the rest of the weekend. I am dying here, I want to get out there and rip the T-tops off and just cruise around. I have more family obligations tommorrow that will keep me from driving her. Come Monday, I am taking her to work. As I said before, I will get pics up ASAP. Thanks to everyone for your support, I am sure I will call on your wisdom and knowledge as time goes by.
