Default Edelbrock Carb ?

I have installed an Edelbrock 1400 carb on my 78'. I assume I need a vacuum advance port on the carb that has full vacuum at idle. Neither of the small front ports on the carb have vacuum at idle. Vacuum only when the throttle is opened. Where do I pick up the vacuum for distributor advance?

No, you do NOT use vacuum advance at idle. it HAS to be ported vacuum.

Looking from the radiator, the left port is is ported for the distributor, the center is manifold vacuum for the PCV, the right side is manifold vacuum.
