If it is not a driver, check with Hagerty at http://www.hagerty.com They have some of the best rates out there but there are restrictions. You cannot drive it to work, must be stored in a locked garage, must have another insured vehicle for every licensed driver in the house, etc. If you can live with the restrictions, then it is hard to beat.
I just ran a 1970 Vette in Arkansas with a value of $25,000 through their on-line quote. Came back with $209.00 per year full coverage and no deductable. Ask your agent if he can beat that price. (by the way, that value is an "agreed" value, if the car is totaled then you would get the $25K, no questions.)
I use Haggerty,$160.00 per year full coverage and an agreed value of $19,000,They do have restrictions such as keeping the vehicle in a locked garage and no driving to work or as a grocery getter and you have to have another vehicle for the other drivers in the house but I just drove mine on a pleasure trip from Florida to the NC mountains and before I went I called them to make sure I was covered and they said I was,I have used them for other antique cars and although I have never had a claim (hope I never do) they have always been very quick to respond to my questions :steering:
Check out Grundy also (grundy.com). They have the usual restrictions about not driving to work, etc., but they have no mileage limit and you do not have to be going to a show, just driving for fun.
I got a Grundy quote for the 75 on Monday, today didn't hear anything so I called them. It took three calls to reach someone and then they said they don't cover anything newer then a 73 or a collection. I have American on my other cars and never had a problem so I guess I'll go back to them.
