Default '79 question...
On a 4-spd- did the original shift have a reverse lock-out? Were they all chrome?

Yes, at least it is on my 70. I would expect it to be the same on your 79.

Hmmm. Was there a HURST factory option in '79 that might not have had a lock-out?

What Hurst option was ther in 79. When I ordered mine the was no Husrt or it would have been ordered. just went through all the paper work and parts manual I have and can find nothing. I'd like to find it so I can get one...

Mine has a lockout and a black chrome ****. It also needs to be fixed.
