I need to do a little bodywork on a 82 Collector. The fender had been previously repaired. There was a butt joint on the top fender, just about where the wheelwell is epoxied to the fender. This joint opened and I have a horizontal split across the top fender.
Question 1) What is the recommended epoxy for this repair?
Question 2) Where can I purchase a spray can of paint for a 82 Collector's Edition?
Question 3) Where can I get some pin stripping for this repair?

No idea, products here are different brand names (I use special formulated stuff made by a small chemical plant here in the Netherlands)

You might have a problem here, it's not available as far as I know/
Question 3) Where can I get some pin stripping for this repair?
Pull out the checkbook.. expensive stuff! There's a company maing repro's. Ask around there are several people here that have these (doesn't Desertdawg have them??)
Delpa, I would fix a crack like that with resin and matte. Use SMC fiberglass resin. You will have to grind out the crack and taper back several inches on each side of the crack and fill it with 3 layers of saturated matte. Then sand smooth and apply poly putty and primer. As for paint your best bet is to have it matched at a paint supply company and shoot it with a spray gun. Goos Luck, Craig

You can try www.paintscratch.com . I ordered from them once for another car and the color match was really close. The original paint may have been a little faded, hence why it wasn't a "perfect" color match. But cans of paint from them might run about $30 for the basecoat colors.
