Convertible or not for C2 corvette?
Most of us know how much we like the look of the C3 convertible even though I love to have a 69 BB coupe, but the question is for the C2 generation and i don't want to say i dislike any year of corvette b/c i learn to love all vettes now but if you want to buy a 64-67 vette would youlike a coupe or vert. and your opinion please ? The another vette i really wanted is a 67 BB coupe with body off restoration and all the good fast parts on it and don't care about the correct number. :smash:

I'm partial to the "Verts". A C2 vert just looks cooler to me. :cool: :cool:
But all vettes in "like new" condition look ver cool, so decide what you like since you'll have to look at it everyday.

I know you said 64-67 but how about my favorite, 63 Split window. Too Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't particularly like the verts in those years, but luv the feel of the wind and sun :steering: :steering:

I am really sorry that i missed out the 63 , of course i would love to have it but you don't want me to put a 454 in it right .I would leave the 63 very original if i had one.

Love me C-3 but a 67 vert with a stinger hood is the ultimate! Guess I would take about any c-2 vert for that matter. :thumbs:

The C2 coupes look more like a serious car. I don't care for convertables of any kind as they look crummy with the top down and cheap with the rag on.
The C2 is particurarly bad because of the symetrical shape with the top down. You could drive it down the road in reverse and someone from a distance couldn't tell the difference.
