Guldstrand 5-Link Group Purchase
Art and Dan at Van Steel are trying to work a deal with Dick Guldstrand on a group purchase of his 5-Link rear suspension. I would like to get an estimate of how many would be interested in a group purchase. It would be good to be able to provide Dick with an estimate so that we can negotiate a better price. If the $ and the turnaround are :cool: than I'm a likely :yesnod:
I was quoted $1890 over the phone a few weeks ago... if we can get a meaningful percentage off that I'm in.
If delivery schedules slide beyond mid-July my iterest deminishes with a curve falling to zero by mid-Sept. :rolleyes:

I'm interested but I'll need a deep discount off of Guldstrand's list price.
If it's necessary to remove the body to work on the trailing arm front bushing area, I'm out.

You can add me to the list. I would hope we could get a pretty good discount. I would think the long lead time from Guldstrand means they have to farm out the manufacture of this unit to vendors. Typically, the more units you make, the better the price reduction...
For me, the lead time is not as critical as the price issue...
