Default Steeroids

Is there anyone here running super comp headers with a steeroids setup? or anything bigger than 1 5/8.

Thanks for your help

I have super comp headers and steeroids. The headers required some denting to get it to work. Its a close fit.

Thanks Aharte thats what i wanted to know. I hate the idea of denting new headers. I wonder if there is a set of 1 3/4 headers that would fit right in. There is plenty of room to do so. Is there any chance that you have a pic? My dynomax headers fit with no problimes but there on the small side. Thanks

Sorry I don't have a pic. I don't have a camera, or even the car right now. I understand about not wanting to dent new headers. Mine were already dented when the motor mounts busted (discovered that when pressing full throttle in first locked the steering column  )

most folks think 1 5/8 primaries are best for street use unless you have a larger displacement engine or only run at very high RPMs.

Im running a 383 10.30 comp, 540 lift roller cam, airgap intake, 750 carb, and plenty of other goodies. Oh ya I ran best of 12.90 at 108 with a stock tranny stock converter and 308 gears. Im in the middle of installing a 4l80e 3000 converter and 3.70 gears. That should get me into the low 12.00 sec range :yesnod: I hope :D The motor seems to like to be shifted at 6200-6700.
