There is only one question you need to ask yourself and most here will agree... Who did you buy the car for? If your answer is you then who cares what anyone says. If you said to pick up girls or to look cool, sell if because you will never please everyone. Most girls not all like little cute cars. Lack of taste in my opinion. You will find some that will envy your car and ask for a ride. I know where your coming from I went through it and still do now and again. Don't worry about what she thinks about your car, worry about what you think of your car.

I got my vette when I was 18 (I'm now 20) and I can't say I've ever had anyone call me an old man for driving a vette.. I've been called a "rich kid", which is about as far from the truth as you can get... but I have had some young girls call my car "ugly" because it looked like the batmobile :rolleyes: for every girl that has something bad to say about your vette there are probably 50 or more that will beg for a ride in it. I kind of feel sorry for this girl... with that attitude she may never find out what a real car is.

I'm 19, and I don't feel too young. I just feel extremely experienced and very lucky to have been able to make such a purchase at such a young age. As for the girl, I'd rather be driving my old man car that I love than something with a 4 cylinder in it. No one my age in my area has anything as quick as my car, so I really don't care what girls say about it. If that's the way she feels, you can find someone else that'll help you wax done the back of the corvette. :D :smash:

can understand you young guys being interested in what girls have to say about cars. Actually they have other interests (like guys, marriage & a baby) & cars did not make the list. Don't be concerned about what they "think" about cars. Esp. any dumb comments. You might want to look for one w/ a little more brains though.

Dude, C'mon you drive the greatest sports car built in America therefore the best car in the world! Who cares what some "little girl"says about it.If you wanted you could afford a real nice piece of Shi. Oh I mean rice but you have taste and style in what you drive.Forget about it and pay attention to the "Women" that love your vette. I'm 20 and loving the vette. Just because there are more older men who like real cars does not make it an "old man's car" Paint your car black and you'll have young kids call you batman!! Many people our age have been brainwashed into buying a :U Rice burner.

Drive a Chevy Malibau or a Cavilier or a Ford Escort or Honda Civic and compare the attention and the driving fun of a C3 and then you can tell her about an old man car.
Better yet, park the Vette at a cruise night and park a Ford Escort and see which one gets attention.
