I'm working on a '77. We just got the car, and I'm not familiar with this interior combination. It's a really really light gray. Any idea what it is? And the seats are cloth instead of vinyl or leather. Was this factory? I've not seen cloth seats in Sharks before.
1977 was the first year for leather seats to become standard, however you could substitute cloth-leather seats as a no cost option. The top of the seats were cloth with the sides trimmed in leather.
The color of your interior is probably "smoked grey". To verify this you can check the plate on the inside drivers door frame and the code should read 15C - for smoked grey cloth. The only other light color was white but the Corvette Black Book did not show a code for White Cloth.
Good luck with your "new" car.
I had a guy at a show, who sounded like he knew what he was talking about  say there were actually two different shades of smoke gray. There is an early, dark 77 smoke gray, and a later, lighter smoke grey that eventually became oyster. I have a late 77 that appears to be more oyster than smoke grey. I think.
Take a look at my website. I have a ton of pictures of my interior at the bottom of the "Why I call her Chrissy" page.
