Cat Converters 1975
In my quest to understand C3 emission control systems installed on Corvettes in the 70's and I have a question on catalytic converters I can't seem to nail down.
The first cat converter was introduced on the 1975 model but was it a single bed converter or dual-bed converter. I know they changed in 76 which was used through 79 (dual-bed) and the three way was used in 82. Any help appreciated.
The part number (8998109)is distinctive as well used on only the 75 model year.
