Dead Wipers?
Went to get the car inspected last week and the #@%$^ wipers didn't work. They worked last time I used them but that's been a while ago. I looked in the archives and found the post about the ground wire on the starter. I think this is my problem since I dropped the starter to get the hookers on. Anyone know what color/gauge the wire is supposed to be? I'm at work and my AIM is at the house still packed up in a box from my move. Thx for any replies! :seeya

It's for a '68, but I believe they are the same.
Another quick and dirty way to check for a bad ground would be to run a wire from ground to the console to see if it helps.

Does the '69 have the wiper switch under the dash like the '70's do? I had mine inspected and the wipers didn't work, but the switch was off. No problem after I turned it on! :cheers:

Proof of opening switch on the wiper door?
Bad ground wire to the wiper motor?
Failed wiper motor or wiper switch?
I would think if the ground wire was off the starter, more then wipers would be out?
