Default Some number with the G-Tech

I decided to try the G-Tech before putting the headers and exhaust (anyway I have to wait for $$$$). Dyno2000 predicted a loss of 55 hp at 5500 rpm with the stock manifold and muffler. I was glad to get 5.31 sec 0-60. I couldn't do the 1/4 mile but it would be close to 13.9 with that 0-60. I have to start at half-throttle to avoid a lot of tire spinning.

My goal was around 13.3-13.5 and I'll get it with some tuning and the exhaust done.

Stephan

I beat my numbers, 0-60 now 5,13 sec. A little burnout limited the spinning.

Which Gtech were you using, the new Competition Pro? I have one and tested it at the 1/8 mile track. It was about .1 to .2 fast and a couple MPH, but overall seemed to be pretty accurate, especially since it can't calculate your reaction time to the light at the strip.

It's an older model (2 years). It can calculate 0-60, 1/4, G force and estimate the rwhp. My friend took it to the track and was within 0,1 sec every run. The MPH is a little faster because at the track, it's an average of the last 30 feets or something. The G-Tech give the MPH at the end of the 1/4.

Yeah,

For safety reason, I didn't do the 1/4 mile test. I chose a road in a industrial zone with a 50 Mph speed limit. I don't like to get busted. :D

Those are the ones that we get around here to intercept on the highway. They run close to 160 mph so you better not have 4.11 rear gear to outrun those.

For the horses, it would take at least 350 to catch up with me. :p:

I took a ride in one of those last winter, impressive how they float on the snow. :)
