DIY stainless exhaust
I am thinking of purchasing some 304 SS pipe and fabing my own exhaust. Is it worth trying to build a system that is welded rather then mandrel bent and can I get good flow if I plan carefully? I see that most vendors of SS systems want upwards of $500 and I think that I can pcik up the materials for under $150. I have access wo all of the welding and cutting equipment that I will need. Ideas? Anyone done this before?

I think you could do it. as long as you already have access to the welders and benders, Go for it. and let us know how it worked out....
