Power antenna wiring?

Power antenna wiring?
My vette originally came with a power antenna, but was previously replaced with a fixed one. I just installed a power antenna, but I don't see a grommet to string the wires through the body. The only way I can think is to cut the plug off and string it through with the rear lights wiring harness, then solder the wires together again and shrink wrap them.
How was the original wiring strung? I don't seem to see any "extras" in the harness. Anybody have pictures of their power antennas?

on the 80 the harness comes up through the left rear tire fender well - runs forward to the pillar then goes under the carpet behind the drivers seat - then into the tunnel - if yours came stock with one - maybe the wires are still there -dave

The wiring for my power antenna runs along with the antenna cable through a hole in the top of the front of my wheel well. Wire access should be behind the speaker assembly.
